IT STARTED IN THE COVE

Meet the Cove Kom­­bucha brothers, Ryan and John MacLellan. During Ryan’s second year of his edu­­cation program, he started fer­m­enting ko­m­­­bucha. One day at home in Mali­­­gnant Cove, Nova Scotia, he shared some ‘booch with John, and just one month later they were selling Kom­­bucha at the local farmers market!

Shortly after, Ryan went with his he­a­l­thy gut and left univ­er­sity, while John stayed patient and kept his job as an acc­o­untant, working with Cove on the side. Today, they are now both working full­­­­time at Cove Kom­­­bucha and are so pass­­­ionate about what they do! They would like to thank ever­y­­one who sup­ports them and loves their product. Cheers to the fu­t­ure of being hea­l­thy while having fun!

The name cove was invented by our mother – no pun intended! Also, it was in Malignant Cove, NS, where we first started brewing kombucha for locals at the farmers market.
